Hi,

what does rasta say about soul?

Thank you and bless!

(Wikipedia's "Soul" article don't seem to mention it. )

Yeah but like, how does one find his or her soul, and use it in whatever he or she does?

this is what my Doctor said about soul, now she don't call herself a "Rasta"
still, I think its relevent
"Cannabis takes you out of your ego, which dwell on the past or future and into your soul which lives in the Present"
in the Greek of Pythagoras and Plato, ego means soul
some make the distinction of "altered ego" meaning the CONditioned sense of self that is limited and separate
yet soul is a mystery, we feel it, yet we cannot see it
we seem to know when a thing is "soulless"
and what can crush, fragment and hurt a soul, as differentiated from "Spirit" = that which cannot be damaged
perhaps soul is simply a name for each unique experience of consciousness that melds and mixes with flavours of compatabilty in a cosmic soup of creation
creation is a melting pot
and yet we experience ourselves as a unique I-spective attuned to a body at least some of the time) with a history, that if we Iditate and dig deeep, can experience itself as older than the body and not dependent on it, perhaps THAT is soul?
for I questions are more real, honest and accurate than answers with regards to these matters
Blessed Love
